Product Care

MARBLE / STONE

Our marble and stone collection is crafted from beautiful natural stone, and as with all natural materials, variations in colour and veining, and minor imperfections will occur. These unique characteristics make every table in our collection truly one-of-a-kind, celebrating their individuality.

While we strive to provide accurate images of our products and source similar slabs to those in our photographs, we encourage you to use these images as a reference point rather than an exact representation.

Spills and stains should be addressed promptly. Blot spills with a clean, dry cloth and then clean the area with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive materials, harsh chemicals, or things such as citrus, red wine and coffee, as they can damage the stone's surface.

Our marble tables are not designed for outdoor use. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight exposing your table to direct sunlight.

For tricky stains, we recommend the range from Lithofin range designed specifically for stone care, or for extra stubborn issues or chips a local stonemason will be able to repair your piece at home.

Our pieces are made from natural stone and are therefore porous and in some cases fragile, care must be taken when handling our products. Avoid dragging, knocking or bumping the table, we do not recommend weight over 5kg be placed on the tables.

TIMBER

Like all natural materials, our timber pieces may expand and contract in response to changes in temperature and humidity. This natural movement may cause small cracks to open and close. These cracks are not a structural concern but rather a reflection of the wood's natural behaviour.

While we strive to provide accurate images of our products, and only source timber we think is truly beautiful, we encourage you to use our images as a reference point rather than an exact representation. The actual table you receive may have variations in colour, grain pattern, and imperfections compared to what you see in our photos.

We advise against outdoor use and prolonged exposure to harsh sunlight or excessive moisture.

Wipe up spills immediately with a damp, clean cloth. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive scrubbing pads.

Elm

Our elm tables are handcrafted from elm reclaimed from century old structures. This beautiful timber is renowned for its natural imperfections, including knots, cracks, and variations in colour and grain. These unique characteristics are not flaws but rather the hallmark of its history and authenticity.

We have kept these tables their raw, untreated state to accentuate the wood's natural beauty. Over time, your piece will slightly deepen and go slightly cooler in colour and will develop its own unique character and patina, adding to its charm.

Applying a sealant is entirely optional, and many of our customers choose to embrace the natural ageing process of the wood without any treatment. If you desire additional protection for your table, we recommend a matte bees wax. Please note however that applying this will darken the colour of the timber and does require re-sealing yearly.

Lucia Twist Stools

Our twist stools are hand crafted from natural pine timber and are intentionally made to have a vintage charm about them, as such natural imperfections in the timber are embraced. Knots, cracks, and variations in colour and grain are not flaws but instead something to be embraced.

A sealant applied to protect your piece. Reapplication a sealant should not be necessary, but if over time you wish to restore the lustre of the finish, we recommend a light coat of beeswax.

These stools are not intended for standing on, and a sitting weight limit of 80kg is recommended.
