Designed by Chelon in Sydney, and hand crafted by skilled artisans from reclaimed old elm timber salvaged from old structures, this piece has a gentle organic curved table top, with a beautifully textured, distressed finish, offering the beauty of an antique piece.

Elm is a warm and luxurious timber with interesting exposed grain, knots and small imperfections which are a hallmark of its history and authenticity. This raw texture gives a gorgeous juxtaposition against its modern curved form.

A beautiful coffee table which compliments a range of different interior aesthetics from coastal, to country to contemporary.

Materials: Reclaimed old elm timber.

This beautiful timber is renowned for its natural imperfections, including knots, cracks, and variations in colour and grain. These unique characteristics are not flaws but rather the hallmark of its history and authenticity. 

We have kept these tables in their raw colour to accentuate the wood's natural beauty. With time your piece will slightly deepen in colour and will develop its own unique character and patina, adding to its charm. 

Applying a sealant yourself is entirely optional, and many of our customers choose to embrace the natural ageing process of the wood without any treatment. If you desire additional protection for your table, we recommend a matte bees wax. Please note however that applying this will darken the colour of the timber and does require re-sealing yearly.
